We are now looking for a cost engineer to contribute to the development of cost calculation modules within Tset SaaS, utilizing their expertise in manufacturing cost structures and working closely with the developers and our customers.


What to expect from this role:

  • Support the development of our software as the production technology expert.

  • Define and lead workshops with specialised technology experts, to gather information and feedback about manufacturing technologies for existing as well as new calculation modules.

  • Create concepts for calculation modules, cycle time and material calculators, etc. and prepare them for software implementation.

  • Continuously validate and improve existing cost modules for already implemented manufacturing processes.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Product Owners, Development) to ensure alignment in the software product development roadmap.

Job requirements

What you should bring:

  • 5 years of professional experience working in the manufacturing industry.

  • Educational background in mechanical, manufacturing or cost engineering expected.

  • Good understanding of cost calculation structures.

  • Experience working on cost optimization projects.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills and good command of MS Excel.

  • Based in Vienna, fluent in German and English.

We pay competitive salaries based on talents’ skills and experience; legally, we have to disclose the minimum salary, according to the IT Collective Bargaining Agreement, in this case € 55,000 gross per year for the above mentioned requirements.
